Kais Saied, in charge of forming the Tunisian government: We will work together to eliminate corruption and chaos

Tunisian President Kais Saied confirmed, during his assignment, Najla Bouden Ramadan, to form the new government, that they will work together to eliminate corruption and chaos.

Said said, while receiving Najla Boden at the Presidential Palace of Carthage today, Wednesday, "We will work together in the future with a firm will and determination to eliminate corruption and chaos that pervaded the state in many institutions."

The Tunisian presidency announced that President Kais Saied assigned Najla Bouden Ramadan to form the government.

The Presidency of the Republic of Tunisia stated in a statement published on its Facebook page: “In accordance with the provisions of Presidential Order No. 117 of 2021 dated September 22, 2021 regarding exceptional and special measures on Chapter 16 of it, the President of the Republic, Kais Saied, today, Wednesday, September 29, 2021, assigned Mrs. Najlaa Boden forbade Ramadan to form a government, provided that this is done as soon as possible.

Najla Boudin Ramadan, born in 1958 in Kairouan Province, is a professor of higher education at the National School of Engineers in Tunis, specializing in geosciences. She is currently running a plan tasked with implementing World Bank programs at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

She was appointed Director General in charge of Quality at the Ministry of Higher Education in 2011.

She also held the position of Head of the Purpose Action Unit in the same ministry, and was assigned a task at the office of the former Minister of Higher Education, Shehab Boden, in 2015.
