9 Somalis killed in suicide attack in Mogadishu

At least nine Somalis were killed in a suicide attack on Wednesday at a checkpoint in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.

The Somali News Agency quoted the police forces, as saying that 6 members of the security forces and three civilians were killed and 11 others were wounded at a security checkpoint, adding that investigations are still underway to find out the motives behind this terrorist attack.

And the commander of the Somali National Army, Brigadier General Adwa Yusuf Raghe, announced that 10 people who intended to attend military training were killed, and 20 others were wounded in a suicide bombing in the capital, Mogadishu.


Ragi said that a suicide bomber blew himself up this morning in front of the base of Major General Tajbden, where new recruits were being registered, expressing his condolences to the families of the victims of the cowardly terrorist bombing.
