The Ismaili coach comments on the exclusion of Mohamed Sadek from the Olympic team list

Hamad Ibrahim, the general coach of the Ismaili first football team, expressed his happiness at the inclusion of Abdel Rahman Magdy, the team’s wing, for the Olympic team’s list that will participate in the Olympic Games in Tokyo.


He added, "We are very pleased with Magdy's joining the national team in the Olympics, which will be watched by millions around the world.


He continued, "Abdel-Rahman Magdy hastened the last period to return to the stadiums, which contributed to the length of his absence, but now he is ready to participate naturally."


When asked about the exclusion of Mohamed Sadek, the Dervish coach replied, “I felt very sad after I followed the list. I hoped for his presence without a doubt, especially after his remarkable brilliance in the recent period and his presence before in the national team, but the technical staff led by Shawky Gharib is the most knowledgeable of the elements that will be able to present An honorable performance for Egyptian football.


Shawki Gharib, coach of the national Olympic team, announced the list of 22 players scheduled to participate in the finals of the Olympic Games, which will start this month in Tokyo.


The list included three over-Olympic players: Mohamed El-Shennawy, Ahmed Hegazy and Mahmoud El Wensh.


The team’s gathering is scheduled to start next Thursday, July 8, and the date of the mission’s travel will be announced later.
