Launching technical projects to serve pilgrims this year..Details

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Ministry’s Works in Hajj, Umrah and Visitation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, inaugurated a number of projects and initiatives implemented by the Ministry, and the opening of supervision offices in Makkah and Jeddah during the Hajj season this year, according to Okaz".

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has completed the work of Hajj this year, as it seeks to implement precautionary measures to confront Covid 19, implement health protocols and provide the best services to pilgrims. Among these projects are activating the use of modern technologies as well as an automated guide to answer pilgrims’ inquiries, and among its works is the publication of interactive screens and a library Digital at all times and the application of modern devices, as well as the launch of a project (and permission to perform Hajj) to serve pilgrims, and to provide a number of initiatives, most notably the Shadow Initiative, the Prevention Initiative, and the initiative to provide meals at times.

Dr. Abdullatif Al-Sheikh said that the ministry is striving to provide the best services to pilgrims, and to facilitate their work, stressing the opening of 9 offices for advocacy and guidance in Mecca and Jeddah.
