Harry Kane after losing Euro 2020: What happened will hurt us for the rest of our career


England captain Harry Kane said penalties are the worst feeling in the world and that his country did everything they could to win, and that what happened would hurt them for the rest of their careers.


England lost the European Nations Cup final at home, at Wembley Stadium, to Italy on penalties, 3-2, after they tied 1-1 in the original and extra time.


Three Lions captain Harry kane said, "I couldn't give more and the players couldn't do more, penalties are the worst thing in the world when you lose. It wasn't our night, but it was a great tournament and we have to hold our heads high. Of course what happened is going to hurt us. Now and for a while, but we are on the right track.”


Harry kane continued: "We are playing against a very good team. We made a perfect start and they had possession of the ball, but we were controlling the game, and they didn't have a lot of chances. Their chance came from a set-piece. We improved in overtime and had a chance; penalties. It's the penalty kicks. We gave everything, but it wasn't our night."


Harry kane explained that he told players who missed penalties, "You have to keep your head up. It was a great tournament and anyone could miss a penalty. We win together, we lose together. We will learn and improve from here. This will give us more enthusiasm for this year's World Cup." next".
