Tunisian reports: Al-Ahly tempts Maaloul to renew his contract and resolve within days

Tunisian press reports revealed today, Tuesday, the existence of temptations by the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, to resolve the renewal of the contract of its left-back star Ali Maaloul, in the coming days to ensure his continuity for future seasons with the team.

According to the Tunisian digital newspaper, Al-Ahly is tempting Ali Maaloul to renew, as it confirmed that the Red Castle administration is seeking to renew the contract of the Tunisian international left-back, who is intensifying all his efforts during the current period to restore his place in the team’s squad after a long period of absence due to injury.

She added: It is expected that the two sides will reach a final agreement regarding the renewal within the next few days, and this agreement includes the presence of Maaloul with Al-Ahly even after retiring, as the club will provide him with a position in appreciation of him and his giving and respect towards the Red Castle.

Ali Maaloul is currently with the Tunisian national team, as the Carthage Eagles are preparing to play a friendly match against his Algerian counterpart, next Friday, at the Olympic Stadium Hamadi Al-Aqrabi in Brades, while he will conclude his friendlies during the international break against the Mali team on June 15th.

Maaloul agreed with Al-Ahly's technical staff to stay in Tunisia until the mission travels to Tunisia to face Esperance in the African Championship.

Al-Ahly will play the Tunisian champion on June 19 in the first leg of the African semi-final, while the Al-Edda match will be held in Cairo on the 26th of the same month.
