The final of the Women's Volleyball Cup without an audience... and a limited number of players' families

Ayman Ghazlan, a member of the Board of Directors of the temporary committee of the Volleyball Federation and the acting executive director of the federation, revealed that fans did not attend the Egypt Women's Cup final scheduled for Monday between Al-Ahly and Al-Sayd at six in the evening at the Sharkia Dukhan Hall.

Ghozlan pointed out that a limited number of each club from the players’ families has been determined to attend, in light of the concern for social distancing to protect against the Corona virus, while the meeting to determine the bronze medal between Zamalek and Sporting will be held at four in the afternoon in the same hall.

Al-Ahly team qualified by defeating Sporting 3-0 last Friday, while El-Said qualified at the expense of Zamalek with the same score.

Al-Ahly qualified to the semi-finals of the Egyptian Air Force Cup directly, by defeating Aviation in the round of 16, in light of the withdrawal of the owners of horses and October 6 from the competition, where it would meet the winner of both of them in the quarter-finals, while Sporting qualified by defeating Delphi 3-0.

The matches of the round of 16 witnessed the victory of Al-Shams over Heliopolis 3-0, Sporting over Christian Alexandria 3-0, El-Said over Smouha 3/2, Al-Jazeera over Christian Assiut 3-0, and Delphi over Al-Ahram Gardens 3/2.
