Palestinian President: The world sees Israel for what it is, as an occupying and apartheid state

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that international public opinion is witnessing a gradual shift in recognition of the Palestinian narrative, especially in the United States of America and the countries of Europe, which created, contributed and funded the State of Israel, and even defended its existence and its agreement on a permanent basis, and still accuses everyone who criticizes Israel of anti-Semitism. And for this, these countries have enacted laws to ensure this.

The Palestinian President added in a recorded speech before the opening of the first refereed scientific conference, “The Zionist narrative between cassation and dismantlement,” today, Tuesday, in the city of Ramallah, through the “video conference” technology, with the Presidency Office of Al-Quds Open University in the Gaza Strip, in the presence of the Palestinian Prime Minister. Muhammad Shtayyeh, a number of members of the Executive Committee of the Liberation Organization and the Central Committee of the "Fatah Movement", officials, Commissioner of NGOs and Non-Governmental Organizations Dalal Salama, and President of the University Younis Amro, said that "most American and European cities are witnessing a wide public activity with the participation of our Palestinian community supported by popular organizations opposed to the occupation." The Palestinian President continued: "There have become convictions and shifts in global popular opinion and at the level of parliaments towards rehabilitating the Palestinian narrative, and this matter needs to continue to work and mobilize to reach decision makers in all these capitals, to confirm the authenticity of our Palestinian people, and their right to their land. and the land of his ancestors, and to achieve his independence in his sovereign state, with Jerusalem as its capital.

And he added, "I salute the efforts made to hold this conference, which refutes and refutes the Zionist narrative that falsifies the truth and history, and which all documents and research confirm that it is a colonial industry. They planned and implemented to implant Israel as a foreign body in this region to break it up and keep it weak."

The Palestinian President said: Despite our acceptance of a painful historic settlement recognizing the State of Israel on the 1967 borders in accordance with United Nations resolutions 242 and 338 and the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993, Israel has violated these agreements and continued the theft of land, the establishment of settlements, the creation of an apartheid regime and ethnic cleansing by military force. ".

He stressed: "The world has begun to see Israel as an occupying and apartheid state, and I am confident that the contribution of researchers participating in this conference will have an important impact on clarifying and explaining the truth of the myths and false narratives of this Zionist project that Western countries made for purely colonial purposes."

At the end of his speech, Abbas saluted the peoples, organizations, parliaments and countries that stand by our people in order to prove their right. He also saluted our people stationed in Jerusalem, and our steadfast people in refugee camps in the homeland and the diaspora, in addition to a salute to our martyrs, our prisoners and our brave wounded.
