Oil prices record $75.40 for Brent and $73.30 for US crude

Today, oil prices recorded $75.40 a barrel for the global benchmark Brent crude futures contract, and the US West Texas Intermediate crude futures contract recorded $73.30 a barrel.


According to international media reports, oil prices in global markets witnessed an increase today, after data showed a decline in US crude oil inventories more than expected.


Crude oil prices recorded their fourth consecutive weekly gain at the end of trading sessions in the futures markets last Friday, as Brent crude contracts rose by 1.1% compared to the end of the previous week, and West Texas crude contracts rose by 1%.
