Enrique dissatisfied with Spain's draw with Portugal

Spain coach Luis Enrique expressed his dissatisfaction with the result of a goalless draw with his counterpart Portugal, in the friendly match between the two teams, on Friday evening, at the "Wanda Metropolitano" stadium of Atletico Madrid, as part of their preparations for the European Nations Cup. Euro 2020".

The friendly match also witnessed the official announcement of the Spanish Football Federation of its candidacy with its Portuguese counterpart in order to bid to host the 2030 World Cup.

Enrique said in comments after the end of the match, commenting on the result: "What I liked the most was the team's performance, what I didn't like was the result."

Enrique continued, saying about the goalkeeper's position: "I can use the goalkeepers I want, all three can play at any time."

For his part, defender Aymeric Laporte commented on his first participation with the Spain national team, saying: “It is an honor for me to play my first match with Spain. Thank you, Luis Enrique, for trusting me. I haven’t played for a long time. I requested a change as a precaution.”

Goalkeeper Unai Simon also said: "I am not worried about what is said about goalkeepers. I am used to pressure, I do not see it necessary to be a starting player, we have three goalkeepers, all of them have been trained to compete."

The Spanish team was the best party during the events of the first half, and its players posed a threat to the European goal of Brazil.
