Juventus fall to Milan by three and their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League dwindle

Juventus fell to Milan by three goals without a match, in the match that brought the two teams together at the "Allianz Stadium", in the matches of the 35th round of the Italian League for the current season 2020-2021, to weaken Juve's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season.

The first half ended with Milan progressing with a goal scored by Brahim Diaz in the 45th minute, after a superb shot from inside the penalty area.

In the second half, Croatian Ante Rebic scored the second goal in the 78th minute with a superb shot from outside the penalty area, which settled on Juventus goalkeeper Yasar Cesny.

Defender Vicayo Tomori scored Milan's third goal in the 82nd minute with a header.

The match began with a quiet start until the 25th minute, during which neither team shot a ball at the other's goal.

The Juventus team threatened Milan with more than one ball, but without real danger, after half an hour had passed, then Milan entered the atmosphere of the meeting through the duo Brahim Diaz and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

In the second half, Ivorian Frank Casey missed a penalty kick for Milan in the 58th minute, which was saved by Juventus goalkeeper Chesney.

And the Swedish veteran, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the star of Milan, was injured and left the stadium in the 66th minute, and Croatian Ante Rebic participated in his place.

With that result, Juventus retreated to fifth place in the Italian league table with 69 points, while Milan ranks third with 72 points, also ahead of direct confrontations from runner-up Atalanta.

The Inter Milan team won the Italian League title last round, to claim the title for the first time after an absence of 11 years, and for the 19th time in its history, ending Juventus' monopoly on the title over the last 9 seasons.
