The Tunisian president is discussing with the World Bank ways to overcome the economic crisis

Tunisian President Kais Saied discussed with Farid Belhadj, Vice President of the World Bank Group for the Middle East and North Africa, the financial and economic situation in the country and ways to support the country to overcome the difficulties it is going through.

Said indicated - in a statement by the Presidency of the Republic of Tunisia today, Monday - to the faltering path of the process of recovering the stolen money abroad, reiterating his keenness to make all possible efforts so that the Tunisian people regain all their rights.

For his part, Belhadj expressed the World Bank's readiness to help Tunisia recover these funds by providing its expertise in this field, especially since the bank has similar experiences in this regard.

He affirmed the World Bank's readiness to support Tunisia's efforts in the field of poverty resistance, declaring in this context the bank’s allocation of $ 300 million to nearly one million Tunisian families, as part of a social program that will be under the supervision of the Tunisian president.
